The Tomorrow Series – Your source for everything John Marsden's Tomorrow, When The War BeganTV series adaptation now available on DVD and Blu-Ray

We need to make sure this great show gets as many seasons as it deserves! So to do that, we really need to start engaging with those involved with the show and each other!

Every Saturday night a cast member will be answering questions on the TWTWB Twitter account. This week it’s Fantine Banulski (Robyn) and Keith Purcell (Chris). The whole cast has been doing a wonderful job and we should let them know, so tweet support to them and ask them questions about the show!

If you can, watch the show live on ABC3 on Saturdays at 7:30pm, or on ABC iView. Both contribute to ratings and will play a major part in whether or not we get a second season.

It is already available for pre-order on DVD and Blu-Ray from the ABC Shop. Additionally you can order the first novel and the audiobook.

Rave about how great the show is on Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, and other social media platforms. Leave positive reviews on IMBD (at the moment the tv series ranks better than the movie!) and Facebook. Let your friends, family, coworkers, anyone know by word of mouth. Tomorrow, When The War Began is a rite of passage in Australian schools and there’s no doubt that there are many, many fans out there who don’t know the show exists (and they should!)

Lastly, I’m thinking of composing a post with reviews/recommendations of why people should watch the show. So send me all the good things you can think of about the show/characters/plot/cast/anything and I will get to work. If it works out well we might send it to people involved in the show so they know how much we want another season.

We need to get as many people as we can involved.

If anyone has any other suggestions on how to support the show, feel free to add comments!

This show is great! I love that it gives me insight into characters not really touched upon because the book is told from Ellie’s perspective. It’s composed and directed well, bringing this beloved story to a new generation. Keep this show going please!

For those with a Reddit account, there’s a “Tomorrow When The War Began” subreddit, where I’ll start posting links to each episode (starting with Episode 5). Reddit is great as it’ll enable us to discuss each episode as it comes out, and is a great place to post TWTWB content. There’s already weekly discussions happening in the Australia subreddit, but this will enable people worldwide to discuss and share 🙂

Is there any news if there will be a second season? I really enjoyed the first season, but feel it has only just begun and there is so much more to explore.

Hi Stacey, second season has not been announced yet. Fans are campaigning on Twitter with the hashtag #RenewTWTWB (twitter.com/hashtag/renewtwtwb?f=tweets&vertical=default&src=hash). Both the crew and the cast are aware of this, now we’re making sure ABC understands this is a beloved series we’d love to keep watching on our screens. If you want to help, join us 🙂
