Caitlin Jean Stasey is an Australian actress from Melbourne, Victoria, best known for playing Rachel Kinski in Neighbours, but her breakthrough film role came with Tomorrow, When The War Began.

In 2000, at the age of 10,  she traveled the world as a member of the Australian Girls Choir and took part in a re-recording of Peter Allen’s ‘I Still Call Australia Home‘, for a QANTAS commercial.

In 2003 she played Frankie Thomas in The Sleepover Club, a TV series based on the novels written by Rose Impey.

In 2005 Caitlin joined the regular cast of Neighbours, playing Rachel Kinski for three years.

In 2008 she covered Jason Mraz’s song “I’m Yours” and on the same year she recorded her first duet, “Unforgettable“, with Dean Geyer. It was released on iTunes Australia and peaked at number 40 on the ARIA Digital Tracks chart.

She played the title character in the Christmas pantomime Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs at Norwich Theatre Royal, which started early December of the same year and ended on January 16th 2009. She is one of the youngest leads the Norwich Theatre Royal has ever hosted.

In 2009 Caitlin was chosen to star in the movie adaptation of the bestselling novel Tomorrow, When The War Began.

It was refreshing to see a teenage girl speaking so articulately and I really enjoyed reading from her perspective because she is such an intriguing character.”
